2-3 hour walk

Walk the Nought Moor Trail from your doorstep. The official route passes right Infront of Havergarths driveway and takes you to wonderful local landmarks. 

Find Yorke’s Folly (two stoops) built in 1820 as a mysterious ruin to bring people to the area. 

Stump cross caverns

15 min drive 

Get ready for a day of discovery and explore some of the best-preserved prehistoric caves in the UK. You’ll navigate twisting passageways, uncover incredible rock formations and learn of ancient mysteries hidden deep underground.

Birchfield Icecream Farm

Birchfield farm is a picturesque working farm nestled in the valley of Nidderdale.

Great to visit any time of year for their homemade ice cream parlour, tea rooms, maize maze, pumpkin festival, strawberry picking, and Christmas activities.

Brimham Rocks

15 min drive 

Gaze upon the country’s most awe-inspiring rock formation at Brimham Rocks. Some of the most iconic rock formations can be viewed only 10 minutes’ walk from the car park, and it takes around four hours to explore all of this fascinating site, with its enduring landscape and carefully managed environment. Complete with an on site café, Ice cream stop, and book shop. Only a 15 min drive from our site.
